Mechanical Performance arts and performance Media

We are an informal group of folks interested in Mechanical and Optical arts that are meant to be performed such as Magic Lantern Shows, Puppet Shows, Panoramas, Automatons, Zoetropes, Optical Devices, and Toys.  Things of interest to the group usually incorporate the following traits.

Mechanical - Although many of these come from a pre-digital world, they often incorporate mechanical methods of movement or animation. 

Art - These are creative endevours meant to inspire or entertain. 

Performance - These are performances meant to be experienced live an in person.

Media - Some kind of optical or painted media is often involved.
